Try it with your Roon Nucleus one with the ARC app.

That's what I use it for. Don't need it locally, just when I'm out on the road and using Roon ARC. It was a bit complicated for me to set up.

Strange... I just got the account and it appeared in Roon. I hit the button in Roon to log on and it connected. I then just installed ARC and it worked.
Were you doing port forwarding prior to tailscale?

I still use port forwarding with the port set in Roon for ARC. Are you saying Tailscale is showing up in your Roon settings? If so, maybe I'm missing it. You have a screenshot?

I have Tailscale on my phone, but it protects any of my Internet connections to home for anything at home I have set up on Tailscale.

For home, I had to use a subnet router, like my Apple TV 4K.

Exactly! Whenever I find a easy way to do something and someone says it was not easy... I try to let them know how I did it , because I sure appreciate help too. You know pass it forward. Life is a learning progress and as we get older...we need more help (or at least I do). Lol

It is certainly easier. I followed a different set of instructions, and it took a minute to get it working through the subnet. This took 10 seconds, long enough to log in to Tailscale from the Nucleus One interface. I'm not sure how I missed that initially. I don't think I was using Tailscale when I first got it, and maybe that's why I didn't know to look for it.

Do you rip your movies to your NAS too...if so setup tailscale on it and you can view your movies on vacation too.

I have not ripped any of our movies—most of the ones I like I have purchased on Kaleidescape.

I had Tailscale on the NAS initially, but then I realized the only time I access it away from home is via Roon ARC, which is protected.

I tried Plex Music and Symfonium, but neither made sense, considering I have a lifetime subscription to Roon, and it catalogs all of our music.

We can start one of our Roon playlists in my truck or our Jeep when we hit the road, and it plays everywhere we go. The next time we get in either vehicle, it automatically picks up from where we left off unless we change it.

Just swapped out the Emminence woofers with a matching pair of Celestion 15ftr3070c woofers...really liking the sound. I used a XLR Y cable to use one in the crossover and send to 2 identical for v3 monoblocks i then took my old Icepower 50asx2 btl amps for the comp driver (just for now...planning on getting a new small monoblock for the comp drivers.).

When I retune I want to see how the 2 pairs of 15s work together. I also am thinking of crossing over @100hz, so I can use the peak range of the Celestions and the F20s can handle it from there. I scrolled over on my REW screen and saw that the f20 was down 15db @2Hz vs the 20hz level. I then went and checked my crossover and saw I had not set the 20hz crossover.
