(June 7, 2026) Streaming has made music more accessible than ever, but it's also created an interesting dilemma. Plenty of perfectly good stereos, powered speakers, and radios predate AirPlay2, Spotify Connect, and today's app-driven listening habits. Replacing that older gear outright can feel awfully wasteful, especially when a simple streaming upgrade would do the trick.
That's the idea behind Majority Audio's new Link Series, a four-product lineup designed to bring modern streaming capabilities to both legacy audio systems and new budget-conscious setups. From compact streamers that can revive an aging Hi-Fi system to a full-featured streaming amplifier that can feed passive speakers, the Link family is aimed squarely at listeners seeking functionality without a premium price tag.
The most affordable entry point is the Link Mini, a compact streamer designed to add wireless audio capabilities to existing equipment. AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect are all onboard, alongside Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth LE, and Auracast support. Analog and optical outputs provide compatibility with everything from traditional Hi-Fi systems to powered speakers and tabletop radios. With a suggested retail price of approximately $80, it's certainly an inexpensive way to modernize older gear.
Stepping up the range is the Link View, which introduces a 2.1" circular touchscreen display paired with a rotary touch control. Album artwork, playback details, and source selection are displayed directly on the unit itself, allowing listeners to spend less time reaching for their phones. The Link View carries an approximate retail price of $120.
The Link Pro broadens the feature set considerably. In addition to streaming support, it incorporates DAB and DAB+ radio reception, internet radio functionality, HDMI ARC connectivity, and a 4" color display. The result is a product that blends traditional radio listening with modern streaming convenience, all packaged in a single component priced at approximately $310.
At the top of the line is the Link Pro Amp, an all-in-one streaming amplifier designed for passive speaker systems. Majority Audio rates the unit at 300 watts of output power, using a Texas Instruments Class D amplifier stage. Connectivity options include HDMI ARC, optical and analog in, USB playback, Ethernet, a sub out, DAB radio, and integrated streaming functionality. At approximately $405, it begins to elude the word budget, but represents a solid entry into the world of Hi-Fi.
The Link Series is available now through Majority Audio.
