(August 19, 2026) CEDIA Expo 2026 is right around the corner, and Lumagen is preparing to headline one of the show’s big-time home cinema demos. Dubbed “Paragons of Home Cinema: Episode II,” the Sound Room 7 (SR7) showcase brings together Lumagen, Christie, Stewart Filmscreen, NextLevel Acoustics, StormAudio, SPEAKERPOWER, Simplified Acoustics, CineMotion Posters, and Pixel Perfect Walls for a 9.4.6 Dolby Atmos theater built around real-world integration. As Lumagen president Jim Peterson frames it, the goal is to let dealers experience what happens when best-in-class video, audio, acoustics, and theater design technologies are engineered to work together, including Lumagen’s direct control of the Stewart masking system. And to add some spice, the room will feature a different demo series each day of CEDIA Expo.

At the heart of the room is Lumagen’s new ArtisaN 8K Ready video and audio processor, making its long-awaited debut at CEDIA Expo 2026. Priced at $11,495, ArtisaN features eight inputs, two outputs, real-time video scaling, HDR dynamic tone mapping, precise lip-sync control, and a low-latency game mode with a fixed 3-millisecond video delay. Manufactured in the USA, the processor also carries an upgrade path to 4K120 and 8K processing for an additional unlocking fee of $2,500. For a room built around projection, masking, large-format image presentation, and reference-level playback, ArtisaN’s role is straightforward: it’s there to keep the video chain behaving exactly as intended.

Christie is being tasked with handling projection with the CEDIA debut of its 4K1000-KS from the Korus Series of 1DLP projectors. The model brings 4K projection to the room in a lightweight, ultra-compact chassis with versatile lens options, including an ultra-short-throw Z-shaped lens for more flexible installation possibilities. Christie says it backs the unit with a five-year/20,000-hour warranty, and MSRP is listed at a reasonable $14,461.

Stewart Filmscreen will complete the front of the room with VistaScope Evo, a two-way vertical masking screen system using Harmony G3 acoustically transparent woven screen material. The system being shown carries a 4.5" border and will demonstrate formats ranging from a 188" diagonal 2.39:1 image to a 116" diagonal 4:3 image. MSRP for the screen, as shown, is $27,750.

Sound Room 7's audio experience will feature a 9.4.6 Dolby Atmos system comprising gear from NextLevel Acoustics, StormAudio, and SPEAKERPOWER. NextLevel Acoustics says it will feature its Cinema Series loudspeaker system, while also debuting two additions: the Cinema H height speaker, rated at 93 dB sensitivity, and its flagship CI-HV21 High Velocity 21" subwoofer. NextLevel describes the CI-HV21 as built for deep, fast, room-pressurizing bass, which is exactly like the kind of performance that attracts attention in a CEDIA demo room. MSRP for the NextLevel Acoustics 9.4.6 loudspeaker system is $66,000.

StormAudio’s Elite processor will serve as the brains of the room's immersive audio system. Built on the company’s CEDIA Product Hall of Fame-winning ISP platform, Elite will manage decoding, signal processing, bass management, and system calibration. The room will use the complete StormAudio Calibration Suite, combining Dirac Live Room Correction, Bass Control, Active Room Treatment, and manual optimization tools to deliver precise and consistent performance. MSRP for StormAudio Elite is listed at $28,499.

SPEAKERPOWER steps into the mix with the premiere of its HTx408, an eight-channel amplifier rated at 400W per channel. Built on the company’s HTRx8-400 platform, the HTx408 is designed for high-end residential theaters and delivers reference-level power and high-fidelity performance in a rack-ear-free form factor. That makes it suitable for installation in a custom credenza or traditional AV rack, giving integrators more flexibility when system design and room aesthetics both matter. MSRP for the amp lands at a highly affordable $1,999.

Rounding out the audio presentation is Simplified Acoustics' approach to physical room management. SR7 will use the company’s new BDP acoustic panel, which applies a new formula for Binary Amplitude Diffusion over an absorptive panel. According to press materials, the design is intended to be more effective at off-axis angles than a traditional binary amplitude panel. The entire acoustic system's MSRP is listed at $5,400.

And last, but not least, CineMotion Posters is adding some flair to the experience with two 55" TVs in portrait mode, both in SR7 and at booth 1346. One display will function as a poster player, rotating through movie posters, while the second will serve as digital signage. The company’s CMP-01 poster player can turn any flat screen with an HDMI port into an animated and connected digital movie poster, with support for user playlists, static images, motion posters, and “Now Playing” posters and banners when connected to a Kaleidescape Strato series player.

Across the aisle in booth 1346, SR7 partners will also show additional products, including a new Expo debut from Pixel Perfect Walls. The company will showcase an ultra-bright 130" direct-view LED video wall with a 0.9mm pixel pitch and an ultra-wide 2.22:1 aspect ratio. That system will be demonstrated with Lumagen’s ArtisaN processor, StormAudio’s Fusion 20 integrated amplifier, and NextLevel Acoustics’ custom LR-CC 5.5 soundbar and HV10 subwoofer. For attendees comparing projection-based cinema against direct-view LED possibilities, that neighboring booth makes for an interesting stop.

Additional SR7 contributors include Kaleidescape as the movie platform, Home Theater Gurus for sound room design, Lowell Manufacturing for AV racks, and Bayview Audio for video production of the SR7 demo introduction. Industry professionals, dealers, and distributors can email CEDIAmeet@lumagen.com to schedule a private meeting with Lumagen's Jim Peterson.
