Hi All,
What would the result of correcting Frequency Depending Windowing response vs correcting the PsychoAccoustic smoothed response?

The FDW response should be closer to the speaker's anechoic response above the bass range.

The FDW response should be closer to the speaker's anechoic response above the bass range.
So using FDW for correcting the upper frequencies is preferred?

Also, should there be 2 sets of windows lengths for mid frequencies and then for High- frequencies?

FDW = Frequency-Dependent Window, the window width is inversely proportional to frequency.

HF correction is best avoided or restricted to anechoic/pseudo-anechoic measurements of the speaker response if the response has some anomaly you are trying to correct.

in my experience it will bring the sound "forward" since mids are emphasized. most wont like the result I rekon. but this could be only in my room.
