(September 1, 2026) The Barco, Focal, and Naim story at CEDIA Expo 2026 is an interesting one. Following Barco’s acquisition of VerVent Audio Holding earlier this year, Focal and Naim now sit within the Barco portfolio, giving the three brands a new opportunity to demonstrate what precision video, high-performance audio, and custom integration can look like under one roof. That story will be on display in Barco Residential Booth #3123, where Focal Naim America will be part of a 7.0.4 home theater demonstration built around Barco’s flagship Runar LED Wall. The demo is designed to show how a premium direct-view display can pair with serious integrated audio to create a complete luxury home entertainment experience.
The theater will combine a Runar LED Wall with Focal's Astral 16 AV processor and amplifier, Focal 1000 Series integrated loudspeakers, and Naim CI Series amplifiers. Barco’s Runar uses Micro LED in Package technology and is engineered for future-proof compliance with premium DCI-HDR content. On the audio side, the system leans on Focal’s architectural 1000 Series lineup, including 1000 IWLCR Utopia in-wall speakers, 1000 IWSUB Utopia in-wall passive subwoofers, and 1000 ICLCR5 in-ceiling speakers. Naim’s CI Series amplification rounds out the system, with CI NAP-101 mono amplifiers and a CI Uniti-102 streamer amplifier also listed for the room.
Source duties will include Kaleidescape and Apple TV, giving attendees a chance to experience the system with premium video playback and familiar streaming access.
And then there’s the “oh, by the way” moment: Focal will also be showing the new Diva Alta Utopia. Launched in June 2026, Diva Alta Utopia is Focal’s flagship active wireless loudspeaker, pairing reference-grade Utopia acoustics with fully integrated Naim streaming technology. It carries a serious price tag of $210,000 USD and will be available in Felt in Grey and Felt in Ivory, and in three lacquer finishes: Black, Off White, and Dune.
