(June 4, 2026) ARCAM is using its 50th anniversary year to push its Radia Series further upmarket with two new components aimed at serious two-channel enthusiasts. Making their debut at High End Vienna 2026, the new A50 Signature integrated amplifier and CD25 CD player represent ambitious additions to the Radia family, bringing flagship amplification and premium CD playback to a platform that's steadily expanded since its introduction.

The A50 Signature serves as the centerpiece of the launch and introduces several notable firsts for the company. Most significant is its fully dual-mono Class G architecture, with each channel operating as a completely independent amplifier section. Separate circuit boards, output stages, power regulation, and transformer windings are employed for the left and right channels, a design intended to maximize channel separation and reduce crosstalk. It's an approach more commonly associated with high-end separates and reflects ARCAM's goal of extracting the highest possible performance from its long-running Class G platform.

At the same time, the A50 Signature remains faithful to ARCAM's modern system philosophy. Rated at 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms, the amplifier combines substantial power output with an extensive array of connectivity options. HDMI eARC, USB-C audio, optical and coaxial digital inputs, balanced XLR connections, moving magnet and moving coil phono support, and two-way Bluetooth with Snapdragon Sound and Auracast compatibility allow it to function as the hub of virtually any contemporary music system. Digital duties are handled by an ESS ES9039Q2M DAC operating in a fully differential configuration, supported by a supported by an ESS reference voltage regulator.

Development of the amplifier included input from ARCAM co-founder John Dawson, whose involvement centered on refining the company's amplifier philosophy for modern listeners rather than revisiting past designs. His signature appears on the rear cowl and internal circuit boards, underscoring the connection between ARCAM's earliest amplifier designs and its latest flagship integrated model.

Joining the amplifier is the new CD25, a component that continues ARCAM's history with disc playback. The player becomes the company's first CD design since the FMJ D33 DAC to employ a dual-mono DAC architecture, while also being the first ARCAM product to implement ESS Hyperstream 4 DAC technology. A linear toroidal power supply, vibration-controlled chassis construction, and balanced XLR outputs round out a design intended to provide stable, low-noise operation and accurate disc playback.

Unfortunately, SACD compatibility isn't part of the feature set. The CD25 only supports CD, CD-R, and CD-RW playback.

Together, the A50 Signature and CD25 represent the fourth phase of ARCAM's Radia platform. Rather than treating amplification, digital playback, and connectivity as separate challenges, both products have been engineered to work as complementary parts of a unified system, reflecting ARCAM's long-standing belief that component synergy matters just as much as individual specifications.

The ARCAM A50 Signature and CD25 make their global debut at High End Vienna 2026 and are scheduled to reach authorized dealers during the third quarter of 2026. Pricing is set at $2,999.95 for the A50 Signature integrated amplifier and $1,799.95 for the CD25 CD player.
