Good morning my friends. Another snowy day here in the Ottawa regions. It looks like I'll have to go and shovel later on. My daughter, grandson, her hubby, 2 dogs and 2 cats pulled out and made their way back home yesterday. I spent the day packing up Christmas and cleaning up the place and washing the bedding. I did manage to listen to some tunes.

Good morning my friends and welcome to the weekend!!! WOOT!!! WOOT!!! . I was I'm supposed to go up and spend New Years Weekend at my daughter's place but my daughter caught a cold off my grandson and is feeling rough today. I found out that my digital music library needs some TLC as the emby has found a few inconsistencies in my cataloging like listing the album as many times as their are tracks in it. Good afternoon guys and happy hump day.

I hope everyone is having a good day. I filled out and mailed back my retirement package. Feb 3, my last official day at work, is coming fast. On another a note, a Texas low is going to slam into Ontario day bringing another 15 to 20 cm of sky dandruff. Made a grocery run this morning in preparation for the storm.

Here is last night's listening session which didn't end up that well. I record a pair of tapes at a time, one on Chrome or Metal for internal use and the other on normal tape used for my walkman. Well, the top deck recording the chrome variant ate my tape and will not let it go. I have to take it to the repair shop to get it looked after. I'm kinda bummed.

It was the punishment for not keeping rollers and capstans from getting a little sticky.

I packed up the non functioning deck and put a spare KX-800U in its place to handle Dolby C recordings on standard tape.

I listened to a tape I made earlier in the week.
