Happy Hump Day afternoon friends.

Its a beautiful day, the calm before the literal snow storm that starts Thursday night and ends Saturday morning sometime. Predicted accumulations are between 15-25 cm. I'll be baking up a storm on Saturday making gluten free molasses cookies for my eldest daughter, regular molasses cookies for the rest of us, and mincemeat pies.

I bought this download yesterday after hearing a track from them on the Lucifer soundtrack. They are a South African band and only released this one album back in 2013.

. Its been a slow start for me this morning not having hopped on my stationary bike yet. Here is yesterday's listening sessions;

A view from on the bike

I decided to make some gluten free ginger bread cookies for my eldest daughter for Christmas. I don't know if any of you have had to work with gf (gluten free) flour but I can tell you its not easy as its extremely sticky. It doesn't hold its shape well either as shown. This is supposed to be a gingerbread man. Tastes good but no points for presentation.

After completing the Star Wars series, I went back to music.

Good morning friends and happy Sunday.

I finished an 11km walk this morning outside as I was getting "shack wacky" from being couped inside. I did manage to bake 3 mincemeat pies for Christmas. Here's yesterday's listening sessions;

It was a busy day yesterday with my grandson and family. I watched a history series on Youtube and learned that the average lifespan of a baker in Victorian England was only 42 years. I'm thinking most of us posting in this thread would be long dead by now.

Good evening friends. Another busy day here at home with my grandson and family. Fun times. I watched a really good film last night on Amazon Prime called Infinite. Highly recommended for all of you sci-fi fans. Here's yesterday listening sessions;

Good morning my friends There was no listening sessions last night as I was in the kitchen for a lot of time and simply too tired. I made between 6 -7 dozen molasses cookies and a recipe handed down to me by my German immigrant parents called Herring Salad. Incredients are pickled herring cut into tidbits, boiled potatoes cubed down to salad bites, diced beets in Harvard sauce (I also had to make the sauce), mayonnaise, crushed walnuts, a cubed apple, and two boiled eggs. The beets turn everything pink as shown below.
