Transformers: The Last Knight - Blu-ray Review

This thread is hysterical.

Mike, I just hope you don't have to watch the 4K and 3D versions!

you guys trying to kill me???? sheesh, :D... if Paramount had sent a 4K copy I would have had to, but at this point looks like I won't

I'm also curious what the film looks like on a 4:3 480p tube television.

Look forward to that analysis

don't make me smack you Todd

I've got an old Sony CRT tv that I can test that on ;)

Tony is it black and white, we want to see the HDR levels.

I think we should also investigate high and low ambient light viewing conditions.

Jeeze, I missed out on all the fun here!! Well I bought this one sight unseen and it's being delivered tomorrow. We will see how this one holds up compared to the others. Sad fact: I actually liked the other movies, including AoE with Marky Mark. You're right though, Mike. His daughter and her boyfriend were kind of a bad plot line to throw in there.

It tied Chips and Baywatch for worst Hollywood movie of the year

? I actually really enjoyed CHiPS and Baywatch.

Seriously, Baywatch was a better Point Break remake than the Point Break remake.

I heard this movie was not that great. So, I waited to come out on RedBox to rented and watch it. The same goes for Wonderwoman.

Okay, I'll say it again, I thoroughly enjoyed CHiPS and Baywatch. So I watched this tonight.

This had great action, great sound and picture, but what actually happened? I was so distracted by the changing aspect ratios that I missed the 42 seconds of plot. It's like he shot this as a 3-camera shoot with a pile of borrowed cameras and used whatever was handy. I'm not a fan of multiple aspect ratios, but I get it when you go into a scene and it changes for that scene, then changes back. This was changing during conversations. Terrible.

I mean, after watching this, I'm pretty sure I could comfortably retire on Michael Bay's monthly cocaine budget. I loved The Rock. I loved Pain & Gain. This was not good.

incoherent was my favorite word for this one
