We've had quite the excitement the last couple games. Two walk off's when things weren't looking good. The Salvy grand slam Wednesday night was nice but last night was even more impressive. It was very reminiscent of our '14/15 teams where we just kept the line moving. The Royals are playing with a lot of confidence and just might have one more run in them.

We're trying to help the O's? If nothing else at least trying to keep you out of the cellar. You guys are getting destroyed by injuries! Still not out of it though.

The Royals have won 7 consecutive series. Amazing to think they were 10 games under .500 just a short while ago. They have some serious swagger right now. Yankees, Red Sox, and Houston might be checking their rear view mirror. Getting Danny Duffy back is the equivalent to a blockbuster trade.

We are on the verge of getting Zach Britton back... beat the Rays two in a row and are only 4 games out of first. If the starting pitching could possibly come into good standing, the O's might have a little kick left.

I'm hoping the Royals can somehow sweep our doubleheader today against the Twins. If we do we'll be in second place. Pretty amazing considering we had the worst record in the AL not long ago.

They've definitely made themselves relevant in the race again. Moose is not missing any bad pitches right now and hitting all of them out it seems. Steve Balboni has the Royals record for HR's at 36 and I think it's safe to say Moose is going to take that easily if he stays healthy. Sorry about your O's Todd. I didn't see that coming.

I'm wallowing in this bizarre haze of MLB depression... .

Anything is possible, tho. Britton just came back... hopefully Davis will be back after the All Star game. And JJ Hardy is healing. All that being said, if I were the GM I would seriously consider blowing up the team and keep a core of the young players (Machado, Mancini, and Schoop). I'm not sure if Baltimore has the guts to do it, tho!

Sweet on KC. Always fun to see a come back charge!

Leading I believe? Funny thing is the Yankees reached out to the Tigers and Twins on Twitter to block Moose. The replies from each were great.

The Royals get 3 games against the Dodgers and arguably the best team in baseball before the break. I'm hoping this is a statement series and a notice to the league that the Royals will be a factor. They certainly sound confident and have some swagger right now.

Sheesh Todd, I'd love to try and put a positive spin on the O's situation but I'm coming up blank. 8.5 games out and chasing the teams you are looks a bit bleak. All I got is you can add some elite talent in the draft.

The good news is the O's are still just a few games out of the wild card. But losing as badly as they have been... hard to believe that's going to help them. They were #1 on the MLB best team list about 1.5 months ago. Now? They must be near the bottom! Argh!

O's took 2 of 3 from Minn... but pitching still looked shoddy. 42-46 heading into the break. :-/

Yes, I was afraid of that happening. Dodgers are on a roll and we could have made up some ground. I think the Dodgers are on a different level right now.

At the last minute we went to the Yards with some friends on Saturday... saw the Cubs smash the O's.

They are talking selloff in the news. :-/. Arghh!!!

They are currently in 1st place in the American League West

The Astros are on pace for over 100 wins.

By my calculations, they have at least three of the top 10 players in the league! Pretty awesome team!

For the longest time, we were the last place Astros...

So, it is good to be on top for a change.
