So finally got AL XO. Haven't even connected it to my main system. Just playing around creating speaker setups. Yet every setup I create has this strange dip in the 4-5khz region, marked by black circle. Any ideas why is this happening?

Yes, even putting aside hearing ability, this issue is below the resolution of any analogue audio electronics on the planet.

Agreed, it is just anywhere AL xover plots are posted they never look like this, so I wonder.

Can't say as I understand it much, but maybe that's a sweep of no-signal. Odd to see the sub-sub-sonic trace??? Odd to see any human-designed system running -200 dB S/N - how can that be? Not measurable?

The stuff at 4-5kHz just an artefact of internal circuitry. In such additive systems, when one component is even just -12 dB, it isn't adding much that's audible to the sound.

The stuff at 4-5 kHz is an artifact from the window used on the xo. And it will be different when the filters are made and when crossovers and filters are combinde. But the stop-band will be plenty low enough still.
