Is purchase of Audiolense's convolver compulsory?

Lots of questions from me, cos the Audiolense web site is rather sparse, on information about its products.

I already have convolvers that I use to implement correction filters, in my DAW Reaper, or Cakewalk, via convolver plugins, using correction filters in the form of .wav audio files., when I use the filters generated by other DRC (Digital Room Correction) products.

1. Do I still need to use Audiolense's convolver, as I already have convolver tools that should be able to "run" the correction filters generated by Audiolense XO or Audiolense standard version.?

2. Is the Audiolense convolver a standalone app?

3. Is the Audiolense convolver available as a plugin, and if so which plugin formats does it support.

4. How many channels of audio does the Audiolense convolver support?

5. Does the Audiolense convolver support Apple computers - Intel CPU or Apple Silicon based.

Thanks.

Hi @ola1,
I am starting my way in Audiolence but I will try to answer some of your questions.
1. Audiolense works according to the documentation with Jriver, HPQplayer, Roon convolvers if your applications are similar then it could work for them as well.
2. It should work that way too. I haven't succeeded yet.
3. can't help you there
4. I believe the answer is as many as AL supports.
5. You should search the forum for that there are people here who use it with macs.

1 You can almost certainly use your current convolver. Audiolense supports multichannel wav, single wav and binary files.
2 Yes. And also a virtual Asio sound card.
3 No.
4 I believe the limit here is the number of lines supported by the tables used in Audiolense. Hundred, maybe? I don't recall.
5 It doesn't. But there are alternatives for OSX.
