(September 15, 2025) I recently met with Perlisten’s Erik Wiederholtz in a loft in Denver’s Ballpark District, where the company set up an off-site demo space during CEDIA 2025. The setting gave dealers, press, and customers a proper chance to soak in sound waves in a comfortable environment away from the show floor. At the center of the demo was Perlisten’s new Black Edition. Based on the company’s flagship S7T, it elevates performance to another level while showcasing a distinctive finish and presence that makes it stand out. The intent is refinement and immersion, letting music and movies unfold with greater ease and detail. In the room, the Black Edition delivered that sense of effortlessness that makes you forget the speakers are even there.

The system also featured Perlisten’s D8is subwoofers, a slim design that can be placed on a wall or hidden behind a screen. Despite their size, they produce remarkable output and blend seamlessly with the Black Edition towers. Together, the system filled the loft with clean, powerful sound.

My conversation with Erik touched on more than just the Black Edition. We talked about calibration, room setup, and the importance of matching high-quality products with smart installation. Perlisten’s expanding line of in-wall and in-ceiling solutions also demonstrates the company's commitment to the needs of custom integrators and enthusiasts alike.

The Black Edition has begun shipping in international markets and is expected to arrive in the United States later this year through Fidelity Imports. It is a clear statement product for Perlisten and one that points to the brand’s continued growth in the world of high-performance audio.
