Be the Judge: The Ultimate Home Theater Room Review Thread

Here is number 11.

For the above room, obviously it is a multi-purpose room with all the stuff in there. Living Room / home theater..
I think it looks good..

What do you guys think?

Maybe less stuff in the room? lol. :)

Nice looking space... but with a wall that big, they should have three towers across the front. Get rid of that Center channel!

That is a good point.. With the size of the room, bigger towers all the way.. :)

Number 12.

hmm, any ideas??

Nice room, but the front R&L speakers need to moved down where the tweeters are at ear level for optimum sound.

#13. Interesting room. Any thoughts?

Well... #13... I'm not so sure I like the tweeters elevated above ear level. And move that couch back!!

Yeah, they do have a lot of floor space so would be good to move the sofa and the speakers are way to high. :)
Also, maybe something to cover the doors better..

I am sure the sound is impressive.

It needs a rug, too... that wood floor looks like it would wreak havoc on sound quality!

As for #12...

Huh... :surrender:

All I see with #13 is reflective surfaces and rattling windows. A lot of untapped potential.

Here is number 14.. Something is definitely wrong here.. can you find it??

Well... first off, no way anyone is getting an image that bright with the lights on!

So true, yet something else is way off in placement and might fall off..

center set on the subwoofer?

Bingo! .. I am surprised someone did that.. lol.

#15. Limited view... but the picture shows quite a bit.

Parasound with BW 802 D3s.

The good and the bad... Assessments pls!

Wow, nice speakers and overall setup. But, why place equipment on top of the subs?

Alright folks: dissect!

Wow, lot of tapes, etc.

I am assuming it is a rear projection TV due to the large speaker under the TV screen and various items on top.. :)

I am also assuming that is a sub in the lower cabinet? Not sure if it will rattle and hum everything in the cabinets??

The front right and left speakers are very small.

Hmmmm... obviously tons of money spent here. But....

(Real install, by the way)

wow, nice but way to open to allow sunlight.. No curtains?

Yes... but those windows are a huge issue for other reasons!
