Audiolense crashing upon starting measurement

Hello

I'm having an issue whereby whenever I attempt to start a measurement AL crashes and I cannot for the life of me figure out what's wrong.

On V7.2 (I'm awaiting a new license file for more recent versions but I'm not sure this issue is version related anyway as older versions that DID work before are no longer working for me) I can configure my setup, do the speaker connection test etc just fine, but as soon as I click "run measurement", AL says "preparing for measurement" in the corner, and then after a few seconds crashes/closes.

I can then see these two events in windows event viewer:

If I revert back to V6.29, instead of the immediate hard crash I get a popup box which contains the error info at the end of this post.

I have tried:
- Reinstalling audiolense
- Installing and using the 32 bit version of audiolense instead of 64 bit
- Updating my interface drivers
- Installing all windows updates
- Closing all other background processes
- Deleting the AL.ini file
- Running as administrator
- Updating .NET and C++
- Trying different sample rates, bit depths and various different "use clock drift" and "use separate playback and recording streams" configurations.
- Running sfc /scannow and DISM checks

Clearly AL can play to my interface (RME ADI-2 Pro) given as the speaker connection check works fine. But I cannot get the measurement to run.

Does anyone know what might be causing this or @juicehifi might you be able to help?

This morning I brought my other PC in to try, this one AL just crashes immediately upon trying to save any changes to the speaker configuration. I've again installed the latest C++, updated windows, drivers, folder access disabled, windows antivirus disabled etc.
