I'm old-fashioned when it comes to things like this. Be a man... and gentleman!
 
I agree as well if you are going on a date. If it is just friendship get together, each is on their own. :)
 
Yeah... with a friend it might be that they take it the wrong way if you buy.
 
yeah, it can get awkward especially when you are at a full service restaurant where the waiter drops the bill on the table but usually it is toward the guy. lol.
 
I don't date anymore, but if I did, I would pay. The most I would do is agree that she could leave the tip...but only if she was insistent!
 
My wife and I usually take turns paying but if I was still dating I agree the man should pay.
 
Looks like we all agree here on this forum that the guy pays.. :)
