I'm at a point where upgrades are finished and I can just enjoy my setup. I've upgraded pretty much everything within the last couple of years. Well, I guess that's not completely true because I would like to swap out my Samsung 4k player for the Oppo 203. While it's not a pressing need I'll probably do it at some point. What do you plan on upgrading?

Likely not anytime soon but eventually I would like to upgrade to a 4K Projector and 4K Denon Receiver for my HomeTheater to replace my current HD setup.
I see this upgrade as the final long term upgrade.

I am having to start from scratch after a channel blew in my AVR. So, I will be up upgrading at the same time but I am also building for two setups. New AVR's and new media and 4k player.

In the process of upgrading my PJ to a JVC eShift model... either 520 or 620.

New OPPO 205 is on its way to me now.

New HDMI cables and a Roku Ultra.

Not sure I can stand much more after those.

What brand model you looking at? I recently picked up some new HDMI certified lifetime upgradable if i recall correctly, Monoprice.
Haven't installed them yet, believe they are 18gb or higher, can post the info later.

Sometime this fall or maybe a bit later I plan on doing several updates. I'd like to replace my 52" Sony LED with a Sony OLED. I'd also like to replace my projector - no leanings for this yet but the JVC's have caught my eye. Finally, I'll probably bite the bullet on the latest Oppo player (205) at that time.

Nothing fancy ... all from Amazon. A 33' Forspark and a few of the SecuroMax 3' ... mostly no-name brands on the cheap.

I'm in the same boat... about to upgrade my JVC RS45 (which has been a spectacular projector to have integrated into my HT... can't say enough about its performance) to a JVC DLA-X770R / RS520. Can't wait to get my hands on that thing!

I'm keeping my eye out for an AVR that can handle both Auro 3D and Atmos...

Denon and Marantz do both although they charge you for the Auro 3D update.

I'm working on a review with Marantz... hopefully that will come to fruition.

I'm also really curious to see what Emotiva does with Dirac Live on their forthcoming gear. An full Atmos Dirac EQ suite would be...well... SWEET!

That might be the way to go. Seems everyone loves Dirac.

thats a tough question, my theater room is full of stuff that I hulled out of another area of the basement that I am converting into a guest bedroom and storage area so no upgrades on the table at the moment. I would love to go 4k but a projector is out of reach for my budget and a new receiver/processor would have to happen first so I would think that will be my first step.

4K is not a selling point for me but HDR is! It will be interesting to see how it works with a projector.

I'd like to upgrade my receiver so that I have HDMI all the way around. Would also like to upgrade my sub but not sure I want to spend that much money.

Just upgraded all my electronics and gear but been thinking about upgrading my media cabinets. Looking to build from scratch since I can find anything that fits my needs.

I bought these a while ago....couple years back. The weather has broken....in the 60's and I am jones'in for a project. I want to build a custom frame for them in the layout as pictured. Then run a LED tape strip around the perimeter. I have little to no woodworking equipment, and not really looking to spend any money. Going to have to get creative with this. Further more I am contemplating upgrading my projector before long...as soon as I can free up some money. Likely it will not be a Pani so I will need to look into getting a replacement panel...
and not sure depending how I put this frame together whether or not the panels will be able to be swapped out.

As for my HomeTheater my hope is to upgrade the following within the next year...Panasonic PT-AE 7000u to a JVC RS520 / Denon 4520CI to a Denon AVR-X7200WA and possibly add a OPPO UDP-203. The priority is the projector as I can do a work around for the receiver and I have a Samsung UBD-K8500 UltraHD 4K player I can move to the Theater Room.

Very happy where my system is at right now, but getting the itch for a larger flat screen. I'll be picking brains of forum videophiles.

That's a good place to be. That's where I am and I kind of wish I'd gone 75" instead of 65". I'm going to let the resolution/HDR/Dolby Vision format settle before my next display upgrade. I won't be upgrading speakers for a long time though. I found my sweet spot for sound. :T
