Good afternoon friends. My g/f is off to watch some shows so I'm online catching up and playing some tunes. The last tunes I played were these including this from the car as I drove down to pick her up.

Last night my g/f cooked up two pork tenderloins. She made her own rub, sprinkled on all sides, seared all sides and cooked it in this Pampered Chef dish. She cooked it to perfection with slight pink in the middle. She baked potatoes in the mircowave with skins on until soft, then through them in the airfryer to crisp up the skins and served it with Tsasiki and sour cream, and microwaved broccoli. It was to die for. It was accompanied with a Chardonnay followed up with desert (beer)

Had a very looooooong day of recording shopping in London today... excited to pull together the video and pictures from the event and talk about my experience. Roughly 9 hours of shopping... 9 (maybe 10) record stores. Started in the West part of London at a shop called Honest Johns and ended with Rough Trade East in the Eastern part of the city.

I bought a haul! And, truthfully, spent most of the day kicking myself for having sold my record collection off back in 2000. Some of the vinyl on my list today was non-existent in these stores... even ones specializing in mind numbing variations of electronica.

Good times, wish I could spend another day hitting the stores that weren't open!

I wasn't in the mood yesterday to listen to tunes and post the previous listening selections because of .... I talked to my Dr and the initial ultrasound results show I have a 1cm tear on my right side and a 1.5 cm tear on my left side. She also told me that the wait for the surgery could be 6 months to a year because this is not considered to be an emergency. I told her that my life has been put on hold because the pain is getting worse. I told her that I cant run anymore (not that one is a high priority for me personally), I stopped curling, going for my walks and exercising and stopping this activity is having an adverse affect on my mental health.. She told me to call the surgeon's and put myself on a cancellation list.

However, a friend of mine and I went to see a Canadian band last night called Crown Lands. They are a two man progressive rock band and you certainly can here the influences from Led Zep (Zep 5 and later albums), Rush, Pink Floyd, and Yes among others

The drummer is the lead vocalist and is very much like Robert Plant in delivery and stage presence.

The guitarist also sings some and switches between guitar and bass as shown below.

I've not seen a double neck acoustic guitar before... an awesome guitarist

They had guest musicians.. a bassist and a 2nd drummer as the original drummer would switch between singing behind the drums and in the front. The hand off between the main drummer and guest drummer was spot on!!

The last four pics are taken from music from their up and coming album to be released in May which I will snag for certain.
