I saw Journey last night - felt like I was back in the roller rink in the late 70s early 80s!

Journey isn't necessarily my cup of tea... I probably know 5 or 6 of their songs. My wife was the real driver here. She loved it. I thought it was more a novelty and a fun night out with friends.

The lead singer is a bit of an odd visual match. Not because he's Filipino (awesome story, btw), but because he was dressed in this outfit that almost looked like something a K-pop band would wear. The rest of the band (minus keyboards) had the threads of rockers.

Anyhow, the songs I know were cool to hear live!

The first time I saw the lead singer (in a video) I was floored by how much he sounded like Steve Perry. If my eyes were closed I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference.
