Hi,
I'm an ecologist, currently working on a project looking at the effects of rail noise on bat activity.
I'm looking for a relatively low cost way to measure and log Z-weighted SPL of passing trains (up to about 90dB), and the combination of REW and a UMIK1 seem like a good potential option. However, I'm new to acoustic measurement, so wanted to get advice as to whether this is a good idea.
Could anyone confirm that the REW and a UMIK1 would be OK to use for this purpose?
Thanks in advance!
