Hello everyone,
I recently conducted measurements in my room, and the results indicate that the frequency response is quite uneven. I've already treated the room with acoustic panels, so the RT60 isn't too bad. However, I'm still encountering issues with certain frequencies.
Specifically, there are sudden gaps and rises in some frequency responses that I’m not sure how to address. I’m attaching the graph of the frequency response for better clarity.
I'm really not sure how to explain it, but basically, if I put something to treat just the lower frequencies, let's say 20-300Hz, it would drop all the frequencies, whereas I only need to fix specific regions like the 40Hz region and the 80Hz region dip, among others. Is the answer lying in room modes, or is it something different?
I am also not sure how to get out from the dips. How am I supposed to raise the 80Hz dip or any other? I was thinking I might need to use room modes or diffusors for this kind of job because overall, the response isn't that bad.
Any advice on how to smooth out these irregularities would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your expert suggestions!
Thank you!
