I've been trying to load the Harman Curve into REW as the house curve. I've tried a handful of files, both txt and csv, made by different people and in varying levels of detail, but each time I load one I get the same very wrong looking result in the EQ window (see attached screenshot):
34934

The house curve I've wanted to load is some variant of the following:
31.5 6
40 5.9
50 5.5
63 4.9
80 3.7
100 2.5
125 1.3
160 0.6
200 0.2
250 0
1000 -1
32000 -6

I don't think that curve should look like what I'm seeing in the EQ window?

I've Googled as much as I can to figure this out but thus far to no avail. My eventual plan is to only correct the bottom 400 or so hz of the system, and then just eq the raw house curve in above that (though I haven't yet figured out how to accomplish that -- I don't anticipate trouble figuring it out if I can get past this problem first). I'm hoping someone can help!

Make sure you pick the correct target shape, probably "None" if your house curve is covering the full frequency range. The house curve is added to the target, the image looks like a subwoofer target.

On a side note, feel free to modify the Harman curve if it doesn’t sound right to you. I’ve never been a fan of “one size fits all” house curves because all rooms are different. A curve that sounds right in one room won’t necessarily sound right in another.

The target shape was the culprit, thanks very much! Also thanks for the thoughts on the house curve. This is basically a first attempt at EQing this room/system, so I'll see how it works and experiment until I find a good result.
