Hello, all.... quick question.... Does the "scaling type" ever change on the graph here? You know how theres 1/1 oct scaling and 1/3oct scaling... white noise appears flat on one, pink noise appears flat on the other...

On the graph that we see with the SPL/phase tab, are we able to adjust the scale here just the same as there are different options for the RTA???

No, that's not related to scaling. The different appearances of noise on an RTA depends on whether the view is of the spectrum, where the energy is split into linearly spaced bins of equal width, or fractional octaves, where the energy is split into equal octave fractions which cover a wider frequency span at higher frequencies than at low.
 
I think maybe I should have used the word band? 1/3 octave banding? Fractional would be 1/3rd and linear is 1/1. I don't mean to butcher the jargon.

My main question is about the graph shown on the spl/phase tab... is this graph able to display linear and fractional octaves?
 
Before I detour you down a path of explaining correct terminology I am just going to put this out there....

I have a umik-1 and out of the blue lately this is my issue
On a loudspeaker that is known to be voiced generally flat.....

I get the same respective offsets switching to RTA, meaning, it is wrong, in the same precise way.

So there is a transfer function skewing my microphone input.... Can you help me fix this please.

No. 1/3 and 1/1 are both octave fractions for an RTA view.

You should probably check any cal files you have loaded to make sure they are correct. You could save your measurements using the button above the RTA then save the mdat and attach it to make it easier to check what you have captured.

Just an fyi
I am getting the same results in Ableton, which to me, points to the microphone.
