Last time it snowed in Houston was in December 2009.

We're supposed to get 1-3 inches today, here...not quite ready for it!

It passed up Dallas. I can say I was a little disappointed.

Wow, per CNN, it snowed in Austin, San Antonio, Galveston, Corpus Christi and even Brownsville.

Wow lucky you guys!

Since I live in Chicago this isn't really a thing for me, we always get snow. I'm in DC and brought our snow to Todd!

I just heard from Wayne that he is without power due to snow. This is a pretty crazy cold front.

Seeing snow, especially, where we are, where we are not used to seeing it is always exciting. Kids were very excited to say the least. Of course less than 1/2 an inch even showed up but still, a sight to see. :)

Visiting my fiancee in Kansas, 63 degrees today.

A few people from work from Texas shared this with me (since they've now lived in Utah for a few years they've become desensitized to their Texas brethren's pain and suffering :rofl2:):

I wouldn't have minded getting a bit of snow up here in Fort Worth.

You guys can have it, I don't ski anymore, and missing school has been gone for so long I can hardly remember that!
I have no other use for snow, but it decides to come here to Ma. anyway...
Going to Vermont tomorrow for work stuff, and they got wacked a bit last week(we got ~4", they got 10-12 FWIH), at least I'm not going to ski mountains like I had to 2 weeks ago, those required Edit: SNOW mobiles to get around...as a passenger....Gimme the keys!

Snow is good for fun things like skiing, snowboarding, building snowman, etc. But, for everyday life for adults, forget it.. Shoveling, driving in ice conditions, etc.

This is one strange winter. It is snowing again in Houston.. All roads are icy and folks are told not to travel..

I live in the great white north LOL
Snow is not unusual but I must say temps have swung drastically back and forth since the beginning of December. We have gone from well above freezing to -40 and back in just a day on more than one occasion. Just this weekend it was -30F with a windchill of -45 and today its 40F. And very little snow on the ground (not even a couple inches).

Yeah, crazy. .Global cooling? lol. crazy..

They are pre-treating the roads here for more ice tomorrow. Warm here today 50 f here now.

I bought a snowblower back in 2011 when we had literally 4ft of snow on the ground and its kept snowing off and on all winter. Best investment I made that year. It had heated grips and full motorized shoot rotation but have hardly used it since that winter.
