Simulation w/Noise Reduction - When to Use?

When simulation with noise reduction is checked is that equivalent to using a measurement saved after using the "manually remove measurement noise..." option?
So, if I have a measurement saved with this option should the "simulation with noise reduction" option then be left unchecked when running the step response simulation?

This option works independently of the measurement settings. And btw all measurements apply noise removal, but you can change the automatically created nr manually.

I recommend that you stick to the default most of the time, which is simulation with nr.
