2 Dogs, Ezri is the big dummy (half boxer, half German Shep), and Riker is way too smart for his own good (Brindle Whippet/Jack Russell mix). Then there's the 4 cats (5 are in the picture, but the white and grey one had to be put down recently. He was the old man of the group.)

WOW!..That's quite a house full!

yeah, there's a few pets in my house. I don't do a movie review without at least ONE cat or dog trying to make my lap his/her bed

He's not showing up..

Thanks, not sure what happened. It might be too big a file. I switched to showing the thumbnail and it is visible now. We should always display thumbnails anyway, as it makes threads easier to read and faster to load.

I'm still not seeing it!

dawww, he's a cutey

IMG_0003.JPG IMG_0007.JPG My boy Taz. He's a Pit mix and a lover.

awww, what a cutey!

I board dogs but not in kennels like most boarding places use..The dogs that board with me sleep inside the house and have free run of the property..
Sometimes it can get a bit full on though like this!

with free run of the property do they not get away sometimes? Is the property fenced?

These pictures are great! Sorry about your #5 cat. That's the hardest part about pets.

yeah, that's the worst. he was a sweetie and the "old man leader" of the pack.... what sucks is that we had to put down another one not in the pic a week earlier... so two in a 7 day period was NOT fun

Ouch. Man... sorry to hear that Mike.

He is nothing but sweet and pretty much the perfect companion. You know a dog is good natured when they'll let children use them as a jungle gym.

That is the hard part with pets. Sorry, I know the feeling.

Losing a pet that's been in your family for a long time is always hard. sorry to hear about it Mike

Our dog just got fixed so she has the "cone of shame" on her LOL she is now 7 days after surgery and she is as crazy as before, last night she was in the back yard and I had to run to a call at work and she would not come in. The moment I came close to her she dashed away in the opposite direction LOL took me 10min to convince her this was not a game.

yeah, it's the curse of all the years of having so much fun with them.

and LOL on the cone of shame! Ezri (the big dumb boxer/shepherd) was the same way. she actually ate 3 cones of shame off of her in the first week. she was so hyper and excitable (she was like new personality wise after 24 hours) that we were terrified she was going to rip herself open. dumb dog lol

The only fencing on the property is barbed wire fencing..
They don't get free run until I'm confident that they will come when called..This can sometimes take a couple of visits before the dog will learn not too go too far..Others are quite happy to stay close to the house..
Incredibly I've only ever had one dog run off in 10 years and he was recovered in the next town..

recovered in the next town...I hope it wasn't very far away. Around here a dog getting out is a death sentence with all the freeway, highways.
