Hi all

I thought it would be cool to share photos of our Audiolense systems

Feel free to share photos of the interface you're using and/or the speakers that make the sound :-)

And a description of what we are looking at, if you can.

I'm away travelling and away from home this week so can't share pics until I return but I will share as soon as I can.

Photos to come later but I use a Focusrite 18i20 Gen3 interface for 2.2 channel 3-way DSP crossover and TTD room correction !

Looking forward to seeing photos and reading what you guys have

PS: @juicehifi please share details/pics of your system too !

Thanks!

These are currently active with FIR filters from REW and rePhase. Klipsch K510 theater horns with B&C75 2" CD. 2x12" Eminence Kappa Neo bass bin. 2x1000 DIY IcePower 1000ASP amp for the bass. Awaiting one more module to go to 4x1000w and 2.5 crossovers. DIY Hypex nc122mp nCore for horns.

RoonBridge source on MacbookPro looped back through Motu Ultralite AVB interface to Reaper for custom DSP config with ReaVerb convolver. Custom Roon volume control for automating Reaper output channels via OSC. Will start playing with Audiolense this weekend with a purchase of XO in a couple of weeks when I have some time to devote to it.

Very nice. That Motu interface seems very popular with Audiolense users. Must be a good one.

It is cheap.. That helps it being popular

Haha true. But similar price where I am there are Focusrite, Tascam, Behringer options too but Motu seems more popular with Audiolense/REW/RePhase/Acourate users.

Very cool David. Very cute fury friends there too!

What interface are you using?
Hello! And thanks for the comments on the pups! They really are great friends!

I am using an Esi Gigaport original version for DA conversion. For measurement I use a Umik-1. Streaming and AL processing is through a DELL XPS business laptop. I do have an Okto Research dac8 PRO in the box waiting for deployment once I get my pair of Rythmik/Salk 15" sealed subs hooked into the system. I have hesitated to make any changes because the system sounds so good as it is! The only other upgrade I have contemplated is with amplification. I currently use a pair of Sanders stereo amps. One is his ESL Mkll and the other is a Magtech. They are high gain (28dB IIRC) and I can hear a little hiss from the horns at less than a couple of meters distance. Fortunately, my listening seat is about 4 meters from the horn throats. If I do decide to make a change, it most likely will be to Benchmark AHB2s.

Motu is well situated price/performance wise. And the 1/2 rack form factor for 8 channels works well for my setup.

Tweeters- JBL 2405
Horns- JBL 2345 using the 2461 Compression Driver
Midrange speakers- JBL 2120
Woofers- JBL 2205H
Subwoofers- Eminence Lab 15

Adcom amplifiers with the exception of a Behringer powering the subwoofers. (The latest addition to the mix.) Using the Motu Ultralite MK4 as a DAC.

The addition of Audiolense has made more of a difference than anything I have changed since the original purchase of the JBL equipment a lifetime ago. Included a pic of the ultimate critic, she only howls along with the best tracks.
