Hey there Tony sure! I have a nano2x8, with their mic and downloaded all files and loaded. Running a MacBook Pro, High Sierra 10.13.6, Rew V5.20 Beta 4, UMIK-1 mic in to it and then audio out from the headphone jack to the nano via toslink. I get pink noise or what have you from the computer speakers but not from the one channel I have set up to sweep. A three way system, a pair of eminence 15A's mounted face to face wired opposite driven by plate amps with a cheap digital to analog converter between in-been. Mids are eminence Alpha8" MRA's with QLS-HIFI QQA100 to drive em' & then Aurum Cantus G1 Ribbons driven by an SLMS amp. I had things hooked up before getting this program and had nasty sound coming out of everything (not damaging, just not processed properly), and everyone was working fine. But now no signal to the nano it would seem from the computer? When I plug the toslink into the headphone jack the volume comes up with the silenced indicator showing....I am baffled with speakers who have none!-)

Your setup is a little more complicated than I can help you with. I hope someone with better knowledge on what your doing will chime in soon

I am not sure what is happening either but maybe we could do one step at a time. You have the UMIK connected to your lap top and then you have toslink out to your nano which then connects to your plate amp correct ?

Correct, and the two other amps for mids and highs. I can hear the signal out of the laptop speakers but not to the miniDSP nanoDIGI ?

Cool, May I ask if you have set your laptop speaker control to send output to the nano ?

Ok, understood. I may be wrong here but it would seem that if audio is coming out of your laptop speakers, the output setting may be incorrect, or the laptop is not following instructions.
I see that the nano also has the option to allow sound to be input via usb. Could you try the usb output on your laptop ??
