Setup for preamp's frequency response with REW

Hi, I'd like to measure a preamp's frequency response without using speakers. I'd greatly appreciate help and advice on the best setup using the REW software. Thanks.

Not much to that, Audio interface output to preamp input, preamp output to audio interface input. Make sure your preamp output levels don't exceed the limits of your audio interface input.

As John said, pretty easy. There is of course no Cal or Loopback involved. Simply connect on Input and one Output to REW. I measured an old rusting Valve Radford Hi Fi amp some years ago. The Frequency response was impeccable. Even the Distortions were minimal. The graphs greatly helped me sell it for 1500 bucks!
