I’m using Audiolense to build filters for a (DIY) active speaker setup that includes one active sub. The sub has on-board parametric EQ and volume control. I’ve disabled the PEQ but use the latter to level set the sub volume to that of the main speakers prior to taking Audiolense measurements. The nagging question relates to the on-board sub EQ. Is there any situation in which it is beneficial to use the on-board sub PEQ to flatten the in-room response prior to Audiolense measurements?

Most likely not. The best is usually to turn off Al dsp … and if impossible …. Set the sub low pass filter on the highest possible value.
