Not sure what's going on... but there is no consistency with those measurements. They are not making any sense to me... not sure what to tell you other than what I already have, but it doesn't look like what I've suggested by any means.

You only get 8 channels... so you wouldn't have enough to handle all your speakers.

It's possible I misunderstood what I should try, I'll go back and look and take more measurements. However since I ran Audyssey to me it sounds better. So when I looked up a DDRC-88BM it says This product offering is for the DDRC-88BM software plugin only. A DDRC-88A or DDRC-88D must be purchased separately to operate this plugin correctly. So would i have to get ddrc-24 plus one of these DDRC-88A or DDRC-88D?

You'd have to have more than one DDRC for sure... but I'm not sure if Dirac can run both units at the same time. I suppose you could run Dirac on each one and then level match them, but it would be expensive for the setup.

Yea that's what I was looking at, i's pretty pricey, and I've already spent a lot. I might just get the mini DSP for the subs and keep using Audyssey

Is your Denon new? I'm not that familiar with the latest model numbers. You might consider selling it and getting an AVR/processor with Dirac. Although again, I can't say with certainly if Dirac will be that much better since I have not worked with Audyssey in years. I was hoping some others might chime in and offer some experience.

Your RT 60 is little under 1 second, so you MUST do something about that if you want good sound. No EQ could solve this.

So I bought a miniDSP, still playing with it. It has improved my response. My receiver is about 8 months old.

Hello fairly new to home audio I bought 2 svs PB 2000 I was thinking doing the Room eq. Here’s my question my home theater is my living room with an open floor plan would room correction help?

Thanks, I have watched many of all of there videos, and have helped me so much. I am stuck on something and can't seem to find a fix I've been looking but no luck with ASIO4ALL. When I go to the output it doesn't list any of my channels only SST1 and 2, and I've tried the ASIO control panel, and I'm still stuck. Any suggestions? I have attached some pictures

ASIO4All can be aggravating... I have moved on to use FlexASIO with no issues... all my speakers show up like they should. That is provided my computer is seeing the processor/preamp... and the computer sound is set to surround (5.1 or 7.1 or Atmos).

Is this the setting you are talking about? If so every time I change it to 5.1 or 7.1 it changes back to stereo, is there something else i need to change? I will check out FlexASIO

I guess it depends on your O/S... in Windows 10 it looks like the below... and where you "Choose your output device" your processor/AVR should show up (miniDSP/Denon/etc). If you click on the Sound Control Panel link the sound properties dialog box will popup (what you see on the left side). Your processor will show up there as well... and if you highlight it and click on Configure, you can set it to 7.1 or Atmos and Apply it.

So I changed it to atmos with 7.1, in REW it shows all the speakers on the output. On the input it didn't show the UMIK1, and when I took a measurement I got an error unable to start ASIO capture. Not sure what is going on, it's FlexASIO 1.8 version

Usually restarting REW will clear up issues like that.

I tried that, so I’ll try restarting and see what happens. Why do you think on the input it doesn’t show the UMIK1?

Not sure really... does your computer see it?

Yes it sees the UMIK1. When it is set to stereo I can run FLEXASIO with no issues. Once I change it to atmos or dts and 5.1 or 7.1 i get the error message, and it java i have no issues

Possibly an answer to be found here:

The linked page also says it uses the input and output devices set as windows default. I don’t recall that being the case with ASIO4All.

Good luck. These type issues are the worst.
