(May 18, 2023) To celebrate 50 years in the audio world, Naim is releasing a refresh of an amplifier – the NAIT 1 – that first hit the market in 1983.

The NAIT 50 benefits from years of innovation, sporting technically improved circuits said to deliver "dynamics with all the confidence and authority we've come to expect from a Naim integrated amplifier." From the outside, its simple aluminum chassis shines. presenting owners with a large volume knob, four selector buttons, and a 1/4" headphone jack. Around the back, a pair of stereo hookups are joined by two balanced and phono inputs. Other than a ground post, that's all you get. The rest of what you pay for is, as they say, under the hood.

Rated at 25 Watts per channel (8 ohms) or 40 Watts (4 ohms), Naim says the NAIT 50 is compatible with a wide range of speakers.

NAIT 50 will be available in a limited edition of only 1,973 pieces, which is a smart nod to the company's founding year. Priced at $3,599, it's scheduled to begin shipping in July. For more information, visit https://www.naimaudio.com/product/nait-50.
