(October 16, 2026) NAD has introduced the C 359S, a new integrated amplifier that brings traditional Class AB amplification together with the modern conveniences of BluOS streaming, HDMI eARC, and subwoofer integration. Joining the company's Classic Series, the C 359S delivers 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms, with a design that takes a slightly different approach to how that power is generated. Rather than relying on the large transformer and conventional linear power supply typically associated with Class AB amplifiers, NAD has borrowed a high-current, low-noise switch-mode power supply architecture from its flagship Masters Series Class D designs. It's an interesting marriage of technologies, allowing NAD to retain a Class AB output stage while taking advantage of some of the efficiencies offered by more modern power supply engineering.
The changes extend beyond the power supply. NAD has developed a multilayer circuit architecture that separates power conversion, signal processing, and amplification, with particular attention paid to grounding and signal routing. The goal is to minimize unwanted electrical interactions among the amplifier's analog, digital, and network functions, resulting in a quieter signal path and more controlled performance. There's also plenty happening on the connectivity front. BluOS is built directly into the C 359S, giving owners access to high-resolution music streaming, internet radio, networked music libraries, and multiroom playback without requiring a separate streaming component. HDMI eARC allows the amplifier to pull double duty with a television, while aptX HD Bluetooth, optical and analog inputs, and a phono stage provide connections for everything from smartphones and CD players to a turntable. NAD has also retained physical buttons and rotary controls, along with a dedicated headphone output and an included IR remote, keeping day-to-day operation refreshingly straightforward.
The C 359S also features a subwoofer output with optional high-pass filtering, allowing owners to redirect low-frequency duties away from their mains when building a 2.1-channel system.
NAD is also introducing the C 569 CD Player, a new addition that slots between the company's entry-level C 538 and flagship C 589. While the C 359S leans into modern connectivity, the C 569 is aimed at listeners who still have a substantial collection of physical music. At its heart is an ESS SABRE DAC supported by improved operational amplifiers and a refined power supply, along with two digital processing technologies designed to hone playback performance. NAD's Dynamic Digital Headroom (DDH) is designed to eliminate intersample clipping, a form of digital distortion that can occur when reconstructed audio peaks exceed the available headroom, while QRONO d2a is designed to improve timing and resolution when converting PCM and MQA-encoded material. The C 569 also features analog and digital outputs, allowing it to operate as a complete CD source or serve as a transport feeding an external DAC.
The NAD C 359S Integrated Amplifier is available now through authorized NAD dealers, priced at $1,299 USD ($1,599 CAD). The NAD C 569 CD Player is scheduled to arrive in late November 2026, priced at $999 USD and $1,199 CAD. It will be available through authorized NAD dealers, NADelectronics.com, and Amazon.
