Not sure the details on the Harmony, but Todd's suggestion was a good one, though I'm actually using the ultra-budget Lutron Maestro switch, which includes an IR remote. I control it with my NEEO remote. It allows for Dimming, Full On, Full Off and you can (very easily) set a preferred dim setting for one-click access. It was like $40.

No noise, no flickering in my system.

I use the NEEO app to fire up the theater before I go downstairs, so the lights are on, projector is warmed up and input is selected before I even get down there. The Lutron Maestro was probably one of my best purchases in the entire room, since my light switch is next to the entrance, which is on the opposite end of the room from the seating.

I use all Insteon light switches, dimmers, scene controllers, and dimming outlets...been using them for the last 2 houses. In use ISY controllers, but a friend of mine uses a Harmony for controlling them. I am not sure if the Harmony works as a hub or if he is using another brand hub though.

I'm using Lutron Caseta in my home and couldn't be happier. They integrate really well with just about everything out there including my Harmony remote. With Homekit it allows everyone in my household to control the lights. I'm now using a Hubitat controller and wow has it opened more doors! Good luck @bkeeler10 The theater looks great!!!!!

Just gotta say I'm so glad to have a system back after a long 1.5 years of construction and rebuilding. I was listening to one of my favorite concerts tonight (Celtic Woman: Songs From the Heart) and it was the best I've heard it. And I've watched it literally dozens of times so I know it very well. While I still have some more work to get everything settled, and some more tweaking to do, I gotta say I'm very pleased with how it has all turned out. That is all
