miniDSP for REW impedance measurements

Is it possible to configure the miniDSP 2x4HD as a sound card input to use with REW? I want to setup the impedance measuring rig.

I've tried and searched with no luck so far.

On a MacBook Pro M1.

@ChrisPercival the MiniDSP is an output only device. You would need a USB connected external sound device that has inputs and outputs to use the impedance function. I'm sorry, but I can't make any recommendations for an inexpensive device.

I found an input device which appears to almost work. It is recognized and configurable and usable with the scope. As soon as I try to calibrate it in the Measurement module I get an error. Should I give up and get the Steinberg? I tried other sample rates as suggested.

I didn’t configure it in MIDI. I’ll look into that. Turns out the device is apparently meant to be used with the Audacity sound app. I’ll check their manual too.

it's setup at 48,000, 2ch 16bit. No options that I can find

Quite to my surprise, I discovered that my headphone amp has a line input. I configured that and it worked great.

is this a bug in REW that is likely to get fixed? If so, I will keep the hardware anticipating a fix.

Not one that I'm aware of, haven't had any issues with a wide variety of interfaces on my test mac.
