(October 31, 2023) Tapping the allure of history and heritage, Klipsch has named its latest portable speaker lineup – the Music City Series – after three iconic music towns: Detroit, Austin, and Nashville. With portability placed at the forefront, each model in the series offers a unique take on convenience and overall output.

The smallest member of the series is the Klipsch Austin ($99). Sized at 4.1" H x 4.1" W x 1.7" D, the Austin utilizes a 1.5" driver and dual passive radiators for 12 hours of playback performance. Like its two larger brethren, the Austin possesses Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, a microphone for calls, USB-C charging, and a rugged IP67 Waterproof + Dustproof rating. It can also be linked to other Music City speakers or the Klipsch The One Plus or The Three Plus using Broadcast Mode. Broadcast Mode lets you connect more than ten speakers simultaneously to create a fully immersive listening experience.

The larger Klipsch Nashville ($149) is 3.1`" H x 7" W x 3.2" D and weighs a manageable 2.4 lbs. It bumps up battery life to 24 hours while offering playback using two 2.25" Drivers and Dual Passive Radiators. While the 4.1" H x 13.1" W x 4.8" D Klipsch Detroit ($299) packs the biggest punch in its 5.5 lbs box. Also offering 24 hours of battery performance, the Detroit has a driver array consisting of dual 3" drivers, a 1" tweeter, and quad force canceling passive radiators.

Klipsch says all three speakers are compatible with the Klipsch Connect app.

The Klipsch Austin ($99 US) and Nashville ($149 US) are available for pre-order at authorized Klipsch retailers and www.klipsch.com.

The Klipsch Detroit ($299 US) will arrive in the new year.
