How To Execute @Mention

Some other forum sites I've visited have a feature known as MENTIONS, which alerts another forum member they have been - wait for it - mentioned in a post. Usage syntax is @username. Is that a standard BB code? Is it implemented on this site? If so, how do you mention someone who has spaces in their username?

It should be working now. You will get an alert if all of your alert preferences are set correctly.

There is an add-on we can get so that you have the option to get email notifications when someone mentions you.

I like this feature, Im not sure if email notification is necessary.

I'd like to see email alerts personally. Not everyone clicks on the alert link in the upper right, so for them an email might be a nice option to have.

Okay... you now have the option to receive email notifications for @mentions and/or when you are quoted via your Contact Details
