So I've now owned the VSA-LX805 (aka VSX-LX805) for nearly a year and I would like to connect an old Panasonic S-Video VHS tape player to my system to enable some old VHS tapes to be viewed.
I'm not exactly sure of the best way to do this and would appreciate some advice on which cable I should use.
On the back of the VHS player I see the following connections:
The manual for the VSA-LX805 amplifier shows the following:
When this VHS player was in use, around 20 years ago, I believe a SCART cable was used to connect it directly to the TV. Is there such a thing as a SCART to HDMI cable?
Would it be better to use the S-VIDEO + L/R Audio connections, but how would the other end of the cable look and what would it plug into on the amp?
Thanks in advance.
