Here, I will show you my very Favorite Discs (Surround Sound) Some are SACD's; some are DVD Audio's, many are Blu Ray Audio. Only A FEW MOVIE DISCS here is a movie. Only two are Classical. These are in no particular order. I really don't think these are right for you, unless you are a Surround Sound Fanatic like I am. If your system came from Walmart, K Mart, etc, close this thread and bow out.

Also, The Beatles 1 +, 2- Blu Ray Discs, 1- DVD, , DTS HD Master Audio, Dolby digital. You have never heard The Beatles sound like this! Includes 24 page Booklet. Make sure you Tweak your Surround Sound Sound System ( mysystemis10.2 with Height Channels).

My Review of Supertramp, Crime of the Century, Pure Audio, Blu Ray Disc. Recent aquisition for me. I am a long time Audio/ Video Designer/ Integrater. I am an Audiophile/ Videophile. I am also a serious collector of Surround Sound Discs including SACD's, DVD Audio's, Blu Ray Audio Music & Concerts. My collection is extensive. A former CES & CEDIA Mermber also.
In the early 1980's, I purchased The Supertramp Crime of the Century Original Master Recording UltraDisc from Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. This disc was originallty released in 1974. For it's time, it was an amazing Recording.
This is the 40th Anniversary Edition. This disc has been completely Remastered by Ray Staff at Air Studios, London; A & M Records. I would preface this by saying, in order to completely appreciate this Amazing Rercording, you need to have a really great Surround Sound System, complete with Subwoofer's. (possibly, Height Channels).
Listening to the opening Song, School is practically a religous experience. It is so open and airy, with amazing bass. It seems three dimensional. You have to ask yourself: How in the hell did they take this music from 1974, and bring it up to current standards? I would go so far as to say that, IMHO, this release is better then any other Surround Sound Hi Quality Disc out there. Song # 2. Bloody Well Right has incredible Dynamic Range. All eight songs live up to the hype. The vocals by Roger Hodgson is stellar. Dougie Thomson's Bass is just so deep & powerful in all of the right places.
I have enjoyed listening to this disc several times since I bought it recently. Each time, I concentrate on every neuonce, and it gets better, and better. (Try closing your eyes). The disc was rather expensive, but I can honestly say, it was worth every penny. If my hunch is correct, I will not regret it. This player should reveal some amazing imaging and three dimensional quality. I'd be willing to bet on it. I love it so much, I bought 2 copies of it! I would be willing to sell one.
