Use the latest beta version and device names should be displayed properly. Incorrect rendering of non-ASCII audio device names is a bug in the Java runtime, but the beta versions have a workaround that fixes the bug.

Can you add a screenshot of the About REW dialog?

If the Windows option to use UTF-8 for worldwide language support is selected check the "Using unicode UTF-8" box.

Thanks. You my be able to get correct display by selecting the Windows option called "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support" in All Settings -> Time & Language -> Language -> "Administrative Language Settings", but that might cause problems with other applications. I'll look at updates for the next beta release to try and extend the bug workaround for Japanese fonts, I may contact you via the forum messaging system to try out a test version if that is OK?
