First steps in REW and some uncertainty

Yeah well, those aren't the measurements I asked for. It sounds as if you have decided on your own that you don't need our help in determining delays and seeing if things can improve with correction. So I wish you the best of luck, i'm not going to respond any further.

Sorry, that was not my intention.

But shouldn‘t I be able to get a flat response with two subwoofers only? I can‘t really change the phases of the other speakers as they are set by the receiver.

In case you don‘t respond, thanks anyway.

Not necessarily, unfortunately. Given that both subs in the last .mdat show the same wide dip at ~52Hz and they are pretty much in phase, the only way you'll get a better response without giving up a lot of headroom will be to find a different location for one or both of the subs that works better or a different listening position.

Knowing the room dimensions, speaker positions and listening position, may provide some clues. If the room is rectangular and not part of an open floor plan then REW's room simulator may help, too.

You mentioned possibly a third sub? If so, and you want to know pretty closely what to expect, place the one you have now on your listening chair and take measurements at the possible sub locations, if that's easier than moving a sub around to multiple positions for you. Once you find the best position, put the sub there and take the normal measurement from the listening position, REW can do the math from there to see what the total of subs, with or without delay and eq changes, will be.
