I'm not sure this has been been tackled elsewhere on this forum, but my search yielded nothing on this topic.
I'm interested in generating FIR filters for a pair of Hypex FusionAmps and was thinking about using Audiolense for this purpose. @juicehifi can your SW generate filter files for direct use with FusionAmp's own software (Hypex Filter Design)?

Thank you,
Sergiu

Are you sure it Hypex DSP has FIR processing capabilities? A few years back they only did IIR filtering, but perhaps things have changed since.

If so, what are they and what is the filter format?

Yes, they now have FIR. This is from their HFD manual:

They have a fixed number of 4500 taps that can be imported.

Their manual says:
"FIR filters need to be created with an external application. Please use 93750Hz as the samplerate. That application should export coefficients formatted as floating point numbers, one on each line in a text-file. Such a file can then be selected by right-clicking on the FIR component in the routing overview:"

I have already implemented a very similar filter format, so this could be made possible with a limited effort.

However, the ratio filterlength to samplerate gives a filter duration of around 46 ms. FOr TTD correction this is reasonably effective down to around 200 Hz, but not quite insufficient from 100 Hz and down. And the time domain correction will not work very well either.

For a pure frequency correction A decent result should be attainable if there isn't any sharp peaks and dips below 100 Hz. But this isn't something I would recommend.

My recommendation limit goes with OpenDRC, which 6144 coeffs per channel and runs at 48 kHz.which gives 128 ms of correction. That typically works very well for TTD correction down below 100 Hz and somewhat reduced precision at the lowest octaves.
