Seems like I know all of the members so far! Kinda feels like home already.
A bit about myself:
I live in Tallahassee, FL. Love the outdoors & there is plenty of that here in Florida. Have been into A/V for about 25 years. It seems like yesterday, except for the advances in A/V tech. Which is just outstanding these days. I've been working on my HT for several years as money permits (sorry, I'm a working Joe). Hopefully this year it will be complete as it really is almost done!
Recently have gotten into woodworking. I've been sawing all manner of lumber with a portable Band Saw Mill. Not a business yet, but word is getting around & people are starting to ask if they can buy it. I can saw up to a 26" log, 16 ft long. The biggest so far are some Pine 2"x14" boards. They are impressive if you haven't handled a board that big. I've done Laurel Oak, Red Oak, Hickory, Slash Pine & Cedar. This started as a plan to saw my own lumber to build a workshop in the back yard! It's turning into a cool hobby!
Also a Christian, attend Celebration Baptist Church here in T-Town. I'd say this is the best part of who I am. For I am nothing without him! And he has treated me better than I deserve.
Also a husband and a father of three bueatiful redheads (wife & 2 daughters)! Both of my daughters have moved out, graduated college & now have jobs. Still costing me plenty though. Gotta love those women! My oldest looks to be getting pretty serious with a boyfriend, gonna have to watch that!
That about sums up this country boy. One that loves good music & movies in a well controlled room. Great stuff! Hope I can offer some good advice to those just starting out & maybe I can learn more as well.
