This is my family room setup.
Samsung F8500 60" plasma.
The mains are SVS Prime and Kreisel DXD 12012 subs with Proficient brand in ceiling speakers. DENON X4200 and Oppo 103D player with Panamax M5300 PM.

Cozy setup there. Looks like you might use that fireplace all along... ever any issues with the display being above the mantle?

Thanks! Yes cozy it is for sure. Wife has some decor around the mantle but usually it's bare below the tv.
No the wall does not get hot at all so no issues with the tv. We had our wedding portrait there before the tv came along lol. Surprisingly the wife agreed to move the portrait to the formal area.
