Email notification?

Currently when I get the email notification that there is a post on a subscribed thread it does not show what was posted so I have to log in here to see the post. Is there a way to see the actual message that was posted in the email notification?

I just switched it on. I think most people would find it useful. The downside is that it makes for larger messages and some folks might find that an issue, but it seems to be more of a benefit than a problem.

Perfect! that is much better. Helps when moderating a post as some need an immediate response but others dont.

Is there another way to turn off email notifications of watched thread replies? I turned it off in the only place I could find (under Preferences), but I am still getting them.

Maybe since it was on when I "watched" the thread, it then stays on for that thread forever....??

At the top of each tread you posted in that you don't want to see notification you need to select "unwatch thread" that should stop them.

You can also scroll down on the email and click the stop notifications. It will then bring you to A/V Nirvana and click update preferences.
