so on longer rides on my motorcycle I want to use earbud headphones in my helmet rather than baliring my motorcycle stereo speakers. Are there any earphones that don't stick out far when in the ear that would have decent sound and block outside noise for under $100?

You'll probably want comfortable buds, as well as good sounding ones, for those longer rides. This one keeps cropping up in my searches, and costs just over $100:

Ya, I have the big brother to those Sena headsets (20S). It alows for a person to hook up any headphones you want as it uses a normal 1/8mm jack.

Fiio and 1More both make good buds in the price range.

I am a huge fan of the 1MORE 1001 Triple Driver, but they are wired and not exactly motoring-friendly.

Ya, those 1More headphones look nice but I think they might be a bit to bulky to fit in my ears inside the helmet. Wired is ok because they plug directly into the Sena headset unit on the helmet.

Yeah, that is, another thing they stick out a bit far.
