I have been having one of those "summers from hell" so to speak.
1. July 11th we find out that through the monsoon rains that our back office room was leaking water badly. Had to replace the roof
2. Upon pulling the roof we find out that the leak had been slow and steady for years most likely. Had to gut the entire room down the studs and dry it out and then get the insurance involved
3. With the studs open to air we could see several leaks from a window and the sliding glass door, which means we needed to replace the window, redo the stucco and flashing outside, and then might as well replace the sliding glass door cuz it's 20+ years old and falling part.
4. with the reconstruction STILL underway (one road snag after another) we have a clogged sewer line, only to find out it's not a clog. It's a collapsed sewer line which means digging up the yard and and replacing a large chunk of it to the tune of ANOTHER few grand.
now I know god is good and has taken us through times here and far, but it's been one of those nerve racking summers where every financial repair that could happen, HAS happened. Just could use some prayers for peace and calm as I'm trying to do this, coordinate 8 different contractors, and do reviews here without losing my sanity
