Convolver or external sweep playback

Hi REW people--

I have no doubt this has come up before. if so, please point me to the relevant thread. I would like to use rePhase (https://sourceforge.net/projects/rephase/) with REW. Ie, I would like to create an impulse response filter based on an REW phase sweep exported/imported in rePhase. But I would also like to see the effects of the filter in an REW sweep.

1) Could a convolver filter be added to REW (similar to the FB2K plugin)?
2) Or could I export a sweep from REW with some sort of countdown click-track, play it via FB2K+convolver, and have REW measure the sweep?

There is no need to use for the reference channel for your purpose. It is only needed to maintain the relative timing between different measurements, e.g., to determine time alignment between midwoofer and tweeter.
