I think you should go help him Quenton... that way we are assured that there is nothing standing in the way of our evaluation event.

Hmmm... no doubt those would be very interesting... never heard them anywhere either.

Sorry about the move and all of its complications. Sonnie, I am now thinking a late Aug or early Sept date might work.

I have heard of some peop,e having $100,000 a pair speakers moving to them. I believe they are made fairly close to you...you might be able to get them to send you a pair. I think they retail for about $7k a pair.

Those might not fit in with this first round, although we could certainly try to arrange a review of them.

It would be nice to have anything from Danley Labs. We did try to work with them in the past on one of their tapped horn subs, but I can't remember what all was discussed... and nothing ever came of it.

I love my DTS10s, and I am trying to build some Synergy horns too... I would love to have some SH50s.

A couple other ideas if you're looking for more: GoldenEar Triton 5 and the new Revel F36.

Good call. I'm running through this thread again, having another look-see at the recommendations. Gotta say, I'd really like to see Revel represented.

I think those are about $2150 a pair... we might do those later with some higher priced models.

We definitely need to see about reviewing them though.

Yes, the Power Sound Audio MTM-210T deserve a spot someday... with the inclusion of bass augmentation, as the design intends. That complicated matters a bit.

A work around might be, an evaluation using only speakers that need subwoofers?

Ahhh... I missed that part about needing a subwoofer. However, I think most of the ones we've heard will fair better with a sub anyway.

These would be a good review for you Dennis... why not reach out to Tom or Jim?

I have subs that will keep pace with the PSA towers... so, yeah!

Followed up on the Chane L7 in Jon's thread. He's thinking September will be easier. Had some supply issues with a vendor in China. Do you have any tentative dates for the round-up?

We don't... but September will likely be good... as long as it's not too terribly close to RMAF.

He has been struggling with the new L7 for a while now, but he wants to get it right.

I have no doubt that he'll get it right. And it will take as long as it takes! I would never even consider trying to rush him. He will tweak and tweak and tweak till he is satisfied. And if he's satisfied....well, enough said!

And you can just about take the money to the bank that it will be a spectacular product. He knows what he is up against in living up to what he did with the A5 and he wants to be sure not to disappoint anyone.

He builds them here... he just sources some of the components elsewhere... but we would never ask him to stop tweaking, that's what makes them so special when they do hit the streets. Good things come to those who are patient. :T

The A5 is not even his best Arx... or second best, either.
