Audiolense XO Version 6.7 - Highpass XOver Results Aren't Viewable On Simulation

Hello,

Maybe someone can explain what I might be doing wrong here. I have a 2.1 speaker setup with 2 main monitors and 1 Sub. I am attempting to apply a High-Pass X-Over on the 2 main speakers so that they will start rolling off at 70hz.

As far as I can tell the speaker setup Tabs are correct (attached below) and I can see the X-Over points on the graph/chart but once a filter is generated and the simulation appears, I do not see this High-Pass X-Over being applied to the 2 Main speakers. I am expecting that they will show some attempt at rolling off at 70hz just like the Sub Freq is showing but no such luck.

Any thoughts on what's happening here? Thanks

Here I see what looks like the two Main channels being extended well beyond the 70hz X-Over applied to them in the simulation. The "Green" Sub line I expect to follow the sweep path shown but def not the 2 Main channels after 70hz.

You should do this on the speaker tab, not the xo tab. Currently the bass offloading frequency is set to 250 Hz. So just change it to 70 Hz.

Hello Bernt, could you please be more specific on where you are seeing the bass offloading Freq being set to 250hz and where I should be entering 70hz instead?

When I am looking at the speaker tab, the one in the screenshot I provided, I don't see the term "bass offloading" anywhere. I see "Bass Routing XO Frequency" which is set to 70.1 & 70.2 on the small speakers. If I attempt to also enter 70 in the Sub field the program will allow me to do so but as soon as I leave the speaker tab the value disappears. It doesn't stick.

Can I assume you are not referring to changing the LFE cutoff frequency which is currently set to 250Hz?

Also, just to be as clear as possible, I am asking about why the High-Pass X-Over applied to the "Small Speakers" doesn't appear to be getting applied. I am not asking about the Subwoofer behavior

Yes, you’re right. I was a bit quick.

The simulation shows the combo of speaker and sub. If you want to see the actual crossovers you should look at the correction filters. Anyway, the sumulation soes that the integration is very good.
